THE SALTASH ART TRAIL

Commissioned by Saltash Gateway Community Interest Company

Saltash Art Trail (pictured above) is one of the projects in Saltash's Community Action Plan, and is designed to lead residents and visitors from the waterside area, following a meandering route up to the hill to the top of Fore Street. Funding was awarded from Grassroots Grants for a mosaic seat, made from pottery pieces collected from the River Tamar, by a local artist in community workshops ( pictured below.)

The aim of this trail is educational and to have a positive effect on the town’s economy by attracting visitors.
