Carolyn Boyce

CEO

Carolyn Boyce has recently joined CCF following her 25 year career in housing, regeneration, employment and equality development both in the North West and Nationally. Carolyn is a key driver of social enterprise and has mentored and developed over 100 social entrepreneurs. She has founded 3 key organisations over the past 20 years to include Mandela Housing, Penny Lane Development Trust & Merseyside BAME Consortium. In response to the recent financial climate changes she has also set up her own recruitment agency to continue supplying individuals with jobs, apprenticeships, training and qualifications.

Carolyn is excited to lead CCF to further develop the philanthropy strategy of Cornwall linking donors to the needs of Cornwall communities, helping to sustain community groups in their good work. Cornwall Club 100 and the London Club are key drivers to engage and support businesses and donors who may live outside the county but are keen to bring sustainable solutions to Cornwall.

Carolyn has recently held director roles with Social Enterprise Network and will continue the work of Equanomics UK.

Casey Stroud

Marketing Coordinator

Although I am originally from Oxfordshire, I have lived in West Cornwall since I was 6, attending Humphry Davy School and Penwith College. After attending Buckinghamshire New University, I worked with bands, models, sports and event companies such as IMG Worldwide and entertainment companies such as RSK Entertainment. I spend a lot of weekends travelling to the dark corners of the county to play football for a local team, going to gigs and spending time with friends and family.

Angie Springall

Office Administrator

I was born in Oxford and grew up in rural Oxfordshire. After leaving school I worked for 5 years as a Dressmaker & Soft Furnishings Maker and 5 years running a retail business – selling herbal products for horses, (the first of its kind in the late 1980’s). For nearly four years I have been working as an Office Administrator for CCF, organising the day-to-day office needs, checking/ ordering stationery, sending out Board papers to Trustees, Forwarding monthly fund flow emails with case studies and providing admin back-up for the Executive Director, Grants and Fund Development teams. Since 2004 my family & I have lived in Cornwall. I enjoy looking after my horse, walking my dog and tending the garden. You can’t beat sitting in the garden when your work is done & enjoying the wonderful views over Bodmin Moor!

Cheryl Ingram

Operations Manager (Maternity cover)

Following 6 years working in local radio as a Marketing and Promotions Executive, I made the move to the Charitable Sector.  For 3 years I’ve worked for a small award winning charity in Plymouth, providing support to victims of sexual abuse, firstly as a Volunteers Co-ordinator then being promoted to Office Manager.  I then went on to co-ordinate a project for Dartington Hall – The Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children’s Services, a government funded project providing events & training for service managers.  After redundancy and a brief spell in tourism management, I have returned to the sector hoping to help small groups make a big impact in Cornwall.
