Cornwall glass is a family owned business specialising in the manufacture, production and installation of glass and glazing products for Commercial, Trade, Architectural and Domestic customers. Cornwall Glass has long embraced the idea of community support and in 2009 established their Acorn Fund with the Cornwall Community Foundation. The Acorn Fund soon grew into the charitable Cornwall Glass Fund which has invested over £60,000 to 65 community projects within Cornwall and the Isels of Scilly to date. Celebrating 40 years this year, Cornwall Glass would like to mark this milestone by offering the support of £400 to 40 community group within Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.

Mark Mitchell, Director, comments

“Being part of the community is an important part of who we are and what we do. We feel privileged to be able support many local charitable organisations.”

This year, the fund aims to support community and social cohesion in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.  The fund will be able to assist a wide range of causes with the primary focus on improving community life. Cornwall Glass colleagues take an active role in the decision-making process of the applications and this year they will take a special interest in projects that can demonstrate bringing people together in their local community.

We welcome applications from constituted registered charities, voluntary Groups, Community Groups and Clubs.
