BBC Radio Cornwall Appeal

Supporting the local community by making grants for the benefit of organisations and causes serving people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.  The primary focus is on improving community life.

 

 

Crisis Fund (previously know as the Bishops Fund)

For organisations in Cornwall that are in contact with people who may experience urgent problems of hardship or destitution and need a small grant to overcome a crisis situation.

 

 

The BOP Fund - Benefitting Older People

 

 

Support projects that improve the quality of life of older people

 

 

 

 

Safer Communities Fund

 

Encourages initiatives that serve to reduce crime and also serve local communities in Cornwall by supporting youth-led projects and co-ordinated programmes of activities for young people

 

 

Lord & Lady St Levan Fund

 

Supports causes that help alleviate poverty, especially to assist the disadvantaged, unemployed, Older people, Carers, cancer care, the hospice movement and care of autistic children.

 

 

 

Lord Lieutenants Fund for Youth

 

Aimed at exceptionally gifted and talented individual young people who would not otherwise be able to realise their ambitions due to personal or family hardship or disability.  It aims to help them realise their full potential, thereby encouraging pride in their achievements and amongst the local community in Cornwall.

 

 

Sport Relief, an initiative of Comic Relief

 

Grants to fund work in the UK which uses sport and exercise to tackle the exclusion and isolation experienced by some of the poorest and most disadvantaged communities.
