Dinner party raises over £2,200
4 February 2015
The CCF is very grateful to the St Moritz Hotel, Trebetherick for hosting a fundraising dinner for the CFF. On such a stormy evening, the cosy fire and live acoustic guitar music was a warm welcome for the guests, who were greeted with a glass of Prosecco in the atmospheric restaurant. The fantastic dinner party, kindly hosted by Hugh and Nicky Ridgway, raised over £2,200. The guests enjoyed great company and a sumptuous 3 course dinner created exclusively for the evening by head chef, Jamie Porter.
Amanda Rolls volunteer of the CCF and Daphne Skinnard of BBC Radio Cornwall, Trustee of the CCF, thanked the guests for supporting the CCF and making a difference for their local communities.
The CCF has supported several projects based in the Wadebridge area such as Wadebridge Foodbank, Wadebridge Youth Project, Wadebridge Canoe Club, Wadebridge Memory Café, Sculpture Workshop CIC to name a few. The CCF has awarded £741,000 to a total of over 600 community projects across the Duchy in 2014. CCF is not supported by local or central government, we are independent and rely on donations to fund us and continue our services.Back
