Perranwell Memory Cafe sessions
23 March 2015
Perranwell Memory Cafe enjoyed five sessions of entertainment funded by the CCF through the Wellbeing and Prevention Grant Programme.
Their outings were enjoyed by all, expressed by their comments - "I feel as though I have been let out of prison" and "Please can we come again!".
Their Christmas meeting provided Carol singing. The local Primary School brought their choir to entertain them and they also had their own singing session, followed by craft making including decorations for the Christmas tree.
One of the highlights was their afternoon with Jayne Devlin, providing music, movement and dance. Mary Painter commented "amazingly the session ended with everyone on their feet dancing, and it was a picture to see the reaction from the carers".
"We are VERY grateful to have been given this grant which has provided much enjoyment, benefit and well-being to a group of needy people. Thank you."
