The late Anthony Fortescue raised over £1,700 for the Crimebeat Fund

Our grateful thanks go to the family of the late Anthony Fortescue, the High Sheriff of Cornwall, who as a Freeman of the City of London and a Livery Member of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Maker exercised the traditional right to drive sheep over London Bridge – and raised £1,700 for the CCF’s Crimebeat Fund!

The Fund, managed by the CCF, is a grant programme traditionally supported by the High Sheriff of Cornwall, offering grants towards projects that help or aim to reduce offending in Cornwall. Their current priority is to support projects providing practical action which include offending, anti-social behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse and school absenteeism.
