Welcome to our new Development Director

This month we welcomed Jeremy Ward, our new Development Director. Jeremy takes over the role from Tamas Haydu who is our new Chief Executive.
Jeremy has a background in marketing and business development, working for large and small organisation across the private and public sectors and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Jeremy has previously worked for the Prince’s Charity, Business in the Community. He has also run his own businesses, including being a partner in a farming business for 15 years.
Jeremy has lived in Cornwall all his life, apart from going to University and his two first jobs in London. He has been a Councillor in his home parish of Week St Mary for twelve years, including eight as Chair or Vice-Chair. He has been a volunteered for many local organisations and campaigns, including being a member of the Methodist Church, saving a village Post Office, managing a local football team and leading a childrens’ music and drama club.
Jeremy said, “I am really excited to have started my new role as Development Director. I have been involved with community issues and organisations in Cornwall for many years and I am looking forward to working as part of the CCF team and with trustees and supporters to meet the often hidden needs of communities across Cornwall.”
