New Philanthropy Director joins the Foundation
31 May 2017
CCF has welcomed Jo Riley as its new Philanthropy Director. The role is new and is focused on promoting our philanthropic services to people who love and want to support Cornwall but who are based outside the county.
Jo says, ‘I am delighted to be part of the CCF – everyone has given me such a warm welcome. I am really looking forward to helping grow the Foundation, and contributing to its ability to provide help to those in need across Cornwall’.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Jo worked in London in recruitment and HR before moving to Cornwall in 2003, when she and her husband decided to bring up their young family by the sea. She worked initially for a local holiday letting specialist, before leaving to set up her own retail business with online, mail order and bricks-and-mortar operations. After selling the business, she developed a career coaching consultancy prior to joining the Foundation. She holds a Masters in Modern History from Oxford University plus qualifications in coaching and counselling. She can usually be found walking her dog on the coast path or the Camel Trail, or battling the elements in her hillside garden.Back
