Cornwall Community Foundation is the ideal vehicle for people who are looking to put something back into the communities in which they have lived and worked. Unlike other charities, we have the flexibility to support a wide range of good causes from children to the elderly, from the arts to the environment. Uniquely, we look to match the interests of our supporters with the needs of the community, and to offer donors a say in how their gift is used.

Cornwall Community Foundation can accept legacy gifts in many ways including cash, shares, property and any assets of value. Giving through charities helps to minimise your clients tax bills and maximise charitable giving.

Cornwall Community Foundation offers you and your clients the following service:

Easy and quick, with no expensive legal procedures to go through and our administration charges are very low, normally just 1% per annum.
No need to set up as an independent charity, therefore there are no annual returns, accounts or trustees to deal with. We take all the legal responsibility for the operation of the fund.
A full grant management service including policy development, promotion, material production, assessment, payment and monitoring and evaluation.
Your clients can still be as involved as they wish in setting the criteria and deciding who receives a grant.
We can take over the administration of trust funds, with the support of the Charity Commission as a sole Trustee.
Your clients funds will be invested by professional investment managers.
Advice on the most tax efficient ways to give.
A guarantee that their gift will be used locally and in accordance with their wishes.
