St Michael's Mount May 5th 2009.

The Cornwall Community Foundation held an event, by the kind permission of James and Mary St. Aubyn, to promote the benefits of the Cornwall 100 Club at St. Michael’s Mount, Marazion on Tuesday May 5th 2009. 

Guests arrived by boats, leaving from Marazion at 5.30pm and  then made their way up to the West Entrance of the Castle for drinks and canapés in the Chevy Chase. Musical entertainment was provided by sisters Rosie and Emily Pentreath. After speeches by CCF Chair of Trustees, James Williams, Cornwall 100 Club member Jamie Robinson and Steve Hindley, Chairman of Midas Group, there was time to wander round the public rooms before leaving the Mount at 8.pm. and walking back to the mainland.  Flat shoes, a torch, and a raincoat were advised, but the weather behaved itself admirably.
