Volunteering
We currently have over 100 volunteers who undertake all sorts of activities for us, including:
• Grants panel members – the people who decide which applications are successful• Committee members e.g. Events – the people who decide what events we undertake and manage all the necessary arrangements to make them a success
• Helpers at events – e.g. creating our ‘stand’, organising refreshments & food, marshalling, car park attendance, handing out leaflets etc.
• Administrators – e.g. helping with photocopying, filing and telephone answering etc.
• Note/minute taker
• Benefitting from volunteer professional experience
This isn’t a complete list by any means. If you would like to be part of helping people in Cornwall with us, and become a CCF volunteer, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Either email us at volunteering@cornwallfoundation.com or call us on 01566 779333/779865. Please give a summary of what you feel you can offer us and what you’d like to help us with and we’ll do our very best to find something that suits you. Please also think about how much time you could give to us, and how often. This won’t prejudice your application. It doesn’t matter if you only have one hour per month, or you could help us everyday. Just give some thought as to what will suit you.
All volunteers will be expected to attend an informal induction to learn more about Cornwall Community Foundation, so you’ll be given plenty of support.
